The Demist
Holden when to the dentist for the first time in early May. He was so brave. He'd watched Parker and Bailey do it and told me " I not do that mommy". So when it was his day to go I didn't know what to expect. He kept telling me "I not go see the demist. My teeth are clean, see." Then when the hygentist called him back he was totally fine. He even had a cavity and had to get it fixed a week later and was great. He had to have a shot and everything. I was trying to get Brayden to say home from work and take him because I was nervous and Holden was totally fine with it. When he was done he said, " I big, I go to the demist and watch sponbob." He gets to watch cartoons while they work.
The Stewarts Came!
The Stewarts came to see us at the end of April! It was sooooo fun. I needed to see my Meighan really bad. The only downer was Parker was deathly ill for part of the visit. I've never had a child this sick before. Parker has a knack for being sick when very fun things are happening. He did get well enough for us to drag him around Chicago. He's a trooper.
During their visit Jackson, Thomas and David all had birthdays. We're so glad they came to Chicago to celebrate their birthdays with us! I don't have any other pictures though from the trip. I forgot my camera everywhere we went. Very frustrating.
I can't wait for them to come again!!!
Easter Day
We had some good friends (The Kilpatricks, Thomas's and Fryers) over for Easter dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt. I think everyone had a good time and was sufficently sugared up by the time they left. I was glad we were there for baby Katelyns first egg hunt. She was soooo cute!
Easter
My oldest friend ( I mean from childhood) and her family came to see us for Easter weekend. They are great friends and we had ton of fun. We went into Chicago and saw the sights one day. And this was one of the sites we saw. What is it you ask? Well even Don, an art professor, was searching words do fit! You never know what you'll see in Chicago.
This is so my daughter. She is posing on the tail of a dinosaur in Millenium Park.
Marian wanted to experience The American Girl story which was spueing with girly stuff. It was very cute and very indulgent. I wouldn't recommend going in there unless you plan on buying something. Bailey didn't have a doll and it was torture for her to be in there and not get something. But we survived!
We were starved after and couldn't find anywhere to eat. We went into the mall by the American Girl place which was so crowded. We were about to give up and eat off other peoples plates when all of the sudden Brayden comes back to the group and guided us to this great hidden resturant with no wait (on Easter weekend). It was great food and not to expensive. He's our Hero!
