We went on a walk today. We thought it would be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and have the kids get some energy out. It started out nice enough but quickly turned. Bailey, my coordinated daughter, fell twice off her scooter within the first block. She, of course, would cry and while she was doing that Holden kept falling off his scooter. So we walked back and got his big wheel. We set off again. Holden is totally out of control as usual and falls off his big wheel (how you manage that I'll never know) and then Bailey falls off her scooter again.
We finally get everyone going and make it a few blocks successfully. Brayden and I are feeling pretty good. Having fun watching Parker learn is roller blades. Life is good. Then Holden is starting to ram himself into Bailey and knocking her over. This happens a couple times. Bailey, of course, crying and throwing things again. Then Parker and Bailey are tired of Holden cutting them off so they go ahead and Holden starts crying. He is devistated that he's not "first". He then continues to cry the last 2 blocks to our house, while he's riding his big wheel and looking back at Brayden and I to make sure we're still there.
Aren't Sunday walks the best!!!

OMG, that's hilarious! It sounds just as much fun as having Family Home Screaming!
I miss you guys! Wish I could have watched your family on your walk today...sounds like a laugh, at least, for you guys, maybe not the kids. Hope you're doing great! Planning any trips to Utah this summer?
LOL - just glad I am not the only one who has enjoyed those kind of family walks!!
Don't ya just love a leisurely family stroll appreciating all the creations of our Father in Heaven in an attempt to keep the Sabbath Day holy?
It's just as peaceful as the quiet that occurs in the relaxing Sunday mornings while listening to soft music and calmly getting ready for church . . . .NOT!
Glad it's not just at my house!
It does however make for a fun blog entry :) Thanks for sharing!
I love your family updates. What a cute family, and it's nice to hear your kids are as normal (and uncoordinated) as mine!
Funny! That was exhausting to read! :)) hehe
